‘What if Wes Anderson Directed X-Men?’ Somehow I missed this video when it was posted to YouTube a couple years back. Wes Anderson films have always been some of my favorites. From ‘The Royal Tenenbaums’ to ‘Fantastic Mr. Fox’, they all have that special Wes Anderson vibe. See what happens, then, when ‘The Uncanny X-Men’ gets a satirical makeover in the spirit of his work.

To be honest, this short video actually makes me want to see an official ‘X-Men’ film directed by Wes Anderson. Maybe I’m crazy, but I think it’d be good. Although, I’m not too sure how the special effects would be incorporated. Regardless, it would be interesting to see.

As I was reading over Wes’ bio I found out that he was born in Houston, TX! Is this common knowledge? Have I been hiding under a rock all these years? Anyways, it made me super happy because I love Wes’ films and knowing that he was born right here at home is inspiring.

If you liked this video, thank Patrick Willems. He’s an Oberlin College graduate with a degree in Cinema Studies who’s currently residing in New York. That aside, he seems to have a knack for making entertaining shorts.
