This week I made an awesome and easy concrete planter for a succulent I just got! All you need is a little concrete mix, some water, a couple molds, a bit of cooking spray, a small piece of fine-grit sandpaper and a can of glossy concrete sealer. Check out the video below for exactly how I did it.

I actually preferred to wait 48 hours before I applied the glossy concrete sealer, that way I was sure everything had cured well enough. You can plant whatever you’d like, just remember to find the right soil for the particular plant you decide to give a new home too.

Materials:

Quikrete 5000
2.5 Quart container
1 Quart container
Bolts for weight
Planter rocks
Succulent soil
Coconut oil spray
Water

Obviously you don’t have to use coconut oil, it’s just what we have at my house. Feel free to change up the design by using different molds or methods!

As always, thanks for reading and watching!
